Opponent: Cactus Jack

Type of Match: Barbed Wire at ECW Arena

Summary: A brutal match with both guys spilling a ton of blood. Both guys did unbelievable spots with the barbed wire. Cactus whipped Sandman with the barbed wire and Sandman picked up Cactus and straddled him on the barbed wire. Sandman couldn't get up before the 10 count and the ref tried to give Cactus the belt but Bill Alfonso came in and reversed the decision. Sandman said this was the best match of his career.

Opponent: Shane Douglas

Type of Match: ECW World Title

Summary: Not as extreme as a usual Sandman match is but the ending was great. Woman came out with Shane instead of Sandman. Shane had Sandman in the Cross Face Chicken Wing when Woman hit Shane in the back of the knee with Sandman's cane and caused Shane to fall on his back while he still had the hold on Sandman. The ref counted Shane's shoulders down for the 3 count. This was Sandman's first EXTREME Championship Wrestling World Title.

Opponent: Sabu

Type of Match: Stairway to Hell Barbed Wire Match

Summary: Very bloody. Barbed wire was hanging from the ceiling and a ladder was put in the ring to reach it. Sandman grabbed the barbed wire but as he did Sabu pushed the ladder and Sandman fell from the top of the ladder to the concrete floor. Sandman pinned Sabu after he swung his cane like a baseball bat at Sabu's face and broke his jaw.

Opponent: Balls Mahoney

Type of Match: Winner Gets A Cold Beer

This was EXTREME. Balls busted open the back of Sandman's head with some stiff chair shots and Sandman busted open Balls with cane shots to the head. It ended when the Dudleys ran in and attack Balls on the outside. Sandman jumped over the top rope and hit D-Von Dudley in the head with the cane.

Opponent: Tommy Dreamer

Type of Match: Winner Gets To Cane The Loser 10 Times

Summary: A good match with the Woman getting involved and hitting Dreamer with the cane and Sandman hit the DDT for the pin. Sandman gave Dreamer some brutal cane shots that split Dreamer's back open. After the 10 shots, Dreamer turned his back on the Sandman and the Sandman got in another cane shot to the back of Dreamer's head.
